Trust is a "twisted" story about a teen girl who becomes pregnant, causes her father's fatal heart attack after announcing this, and is at the mercy of her horrid mother... Then she finds love.

But of course her family wants to destroy her happiness and does all they can to do just that.

This is yet another gem from Hal Hartley, his films are full of intense characters, witty dialogue and misfit pairings. This film is beautiful and highlights the need for love and trust in another human being.
