David Duchovny was born on 7 August 1960 and is a talented actor, writer, producer, director, and singer/songwriter. He is best known for playing FBI Agent Fox Mulder on the paranormal science fiction television series The X-Files.

"I love dogs. They live in the moment and don't care about anything except affection and food. They're loyal and happy. Humans are just too damn complicated."

His role as Fox Mulder made him a household name, his character would appear on several different shows and years after the "final" episode and films, a reboot would bring Mulder into our lives once again.

The X-Files was one of my very first favorite "grown-up" tv shows and it was always a family event. We would gather around with our tv trays to eagerly watch the latest episode. And this show has stayed a favorite of mine to this day. I will gladly watch this series again and again!

Mr. Duchovny had many memorable supporting and starring roles outside of his turn as the FBI agent. He was quite memorable in Twin Peaks, Red Shoe Diaries and in several films. He also was quite brave as Hank Moody in Californication, which in part he related to personally. He also proved he could portray quite a different law enforcement officer in the series Aquarius where we stepped back in time when equal opportunities for women were rare and rights of the criminals were sometimes bent and skewed...

All in all, David Duchovny is a solid actor with a wide variety of skills and quite an impressive list of credits to his name. He was and will always remain a favorite of mine.
